On Thursday September 24, 2026 the Frassati Council presented a class on how to protect oneself from fraud. Offered by TD Bank in conjuntion with the Horry County Police Department the presentation focused on how to spot an impostor, doing online searches, and identifying a fraudulent caller caller ID. In addition the officers also addressed not paying upfront for any promised items, how to pay for items and how to protect your assets.
Thirty people attended and listened attentively to the presentation. The audience had many great questions for the presenters and also added greatly to the conversation. All who attended benefited greatly from the class.
Our council and TD Bank will present the class again if there is any interest.
